Palo Alto, Cal. --- Number 8 Oregon could not follow its huge win over USC with another at Stanford. The Ducks were upset by the Cardinal at Stanford Stadium Saturday 51-42.

Oregon's defense had no answer for the Pac-10's leading rusher, Toby Gerhart. Gerhart rushed for a school record 223 yards and added three touchdowns.
