RV Makers File for Bankruptcy

JUNCTION CITY, Ore.-- A federal judge ordered Country Coach into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection on Thursday.  This comes one month after the majority owner filed a petition to put the company into involuntary bankruptcy.  The Chapter 11 filing puts the company under the protection of the bankruptcy court while they attempt to reogranize their assets.
 
COBURG, Ore.-- Monaco Coach is looking to sell off its assets after filing for bankruptcy.  The company plans to continue operating as it prepares to sell off part or all of the business.  Experts say Monaco owes up to $500 million dollars.  The company laid off 2,000 workers on Monday.
