KEZI 9 NEWS FIRST ON THE SCENE: 10-Year Old Girl Safe After Abducted While Riding Bike

ELMIRA, Ore.--  A 10-year old girl is safe after being abducted while riding her bike in Eugene.  The Lane County Sheriff's Office says 25-year old Malcolm Michael Gerlach abducted the girl just before five o'clock Tuesday evening.  The suspect then led deputies on a chase that ended when Gerlach crashed his vehicle on West Sheffler Road in Elmira.
