EUGENE, Ore. -- The City Tour for Solar Energy visited Eugene on Sunday to educate community members about how to make solar energy a meaningful power resource for their cities. Tour managers say America is ready for solar energy. They also say Oregon's climate is perfect for harnessing the sun's power.
