    The westbound lanes of Highway 34 are closed near I-5. The Jackson’s Chevron is taped off and employees have been advised to not speak to the media. ODOT says that motorists should anticipate delays and avoid the area if possible.

    The Arizona shooting instructor who was shot by his 9-year-old student Monday has died. Charles Vacca was standing next to the 9-year-old girl when she pulled the trigger on an Uzi machine gun. The recoil sent the weapon over her head, and Vacca was shot.

    If you have an HP laptop, you might want to check your charging cord. HP is recalling six million power cords because they can overheat and catch fire. The recall affects cords sold between September 2010 and June 2012 for HP and Compaq notebooks, as well as certain docking stations.
