ROSEBURG, Ore. -- On Aug. 23, Rotary Clubs throughout Douglas County are partnering up to launch tens of thousands of plastic ducks down the South Umpqua River. Tickets for the event are on sale now for just $5 a duck. If yours makes it down the river first, you could win a new car. Money raised goes to six Douglas County agencies helping prevent child abuse.
