This adorable sibling group of three is looking for a caring and nurturing family. Kira and Keno who are fraternal twins and their older brother Larry are making incredible strides since being placed in foster care. All three have responded well to being in a structured and nurturing home environment. They are in need of a family which can continue to provide this type of environment along with a willingness to support their theraputic needs through counseling.
Kira is tall for her age and is described as a sweet and quiet girl when you first meet her. Once she becomes comfortable she is friendly and interacts well with others. She has medium length hair that is straightened and usually put in a pony tail. Kira enjoys school and is described by her teachers as a hard worker who really wants to do well. Kira is athletic and enjoys participating in team sports. She particularly likes soccer and basketball.
Keno is a quiet but energetic boy who is respectful and cooperative. He likes to ride his bike, play basketball, and skateboard. Keno is active and loves to play with other children, he has been involved in boy scouts for the past year. Although he is the same age as his sister, Keno is the baby of the group and has a smile that lights up any room. In school, Keno is on an individualized education plan and needs support and encouragement as he lacks confidence at times. Keno has made significant improvements at school over the past year.
Larry is described as a very loving child, he is kind, affectionate, and loves to please people. Larry likes to be busy and is very helpful around the house with doing chores. During his free time he likes to ride his bike and play football. Larry has also been involved with boy scouts for the past year. Larry can be a follower and is in need of good role models in his life. At school Larry is cooperative and making improvements, however he does have some challenges due to some mild developmental disabilities. He is on an individualized education plan
Kira, Keno, and Larry are close and interact very much like typical siblings with ups and downs. The three children participate in regularly therapeutic visits with two older sisters. The visits are going well, however it is apparent that the Kira, Keno, and Larry are closely bonded. They will need a family who is able to support their sibling contact with their older sisters.
