Hynix Announces it Plans on Closing its Eugene Plant, Laying Off 1,100 People

Eugene, Ore. -- Hynix just announced it will lay off 1,100 people when it closes its Eugene plant within the next two months. That's according to Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy.
  
Piercy says the loss of this company will be felt on a huge level and the city has already started working to help Hynix in the next months.
