    Anyone who is looking to find out more information about Measure 88 on the upcoming ballot can attend a forum Tuesday night. Measure 88 would allow the DMV to issue "driver cards," an alternative driver license to Oregon residents without having to prove legal presence in the United States.

    Police say around 3 a.m. on August 21, an unidentified white male used a rock to smash the glass entry door to the sizzler restaurant located at 1151 Lancaster Dr. and unsuccessfully tried to take the cash register. The suspect then fled moments later empty handed.

    An Albany family is safe Tuesday morning after their home was likely destroyed. Firefighters responded to the home on 3100 block of Southeast 26th Avenue Monday. Two girls first reported smelling smoke, and then smoke alarms went off. They got out, along with their three pets.

    In the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, Americans support U.S. lead airstrikes, but oppose sending troops on the ground, according to a new CNN/ORC International Poll. The majority, 73 percent of those surveyed, favor the military airstrikes.
