    A predatory sex offender wanted for failing to report to his parole officer last week was arrested Monday night in Douglas County. Jeramy Ball was arrested after he was found hitchhiking along Highway 42.

    Oregon State Police released the names of a Sutherlin couple killed in a crash Monday afternoon. Troopers say Todd Gilman was behind the wheel with his wife, Tina, when for an unknown reason he veered eastbound on Nonpareil Road into the westbound lane and hit a fully loaded log truck.
