    Corvallis Teens Arrested for Park Fire

    Police arrested two juveniles for allegedly starting a fire in the Chip Ross Park area of Corvallis in early September. They say the 15-year-old and the 16-year-old were near the park, north of NW 29th Street. to smoke marijuana.

    Jaime Tinoco, 17, has pleaded "not guilty" on charges including rape and assault Tuesday afternoon. The teenager is accused of beating and raping a woman near Autzen Stadium.

    Students in Weed, Ca. return to the classroom Tuesday morning after the Boles Fire ripped through the city. Last week, teachers were leading their kids to safety as the school evacuated. Six classrooms were damaged by heat, smoke and water. Nothing can be salvaged from those rooms.

    Troopers say around 2:45 p.m., a 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup with two occupants was southbound on Highway 99E when the driver pulled over and stopped due to a problem with the pickup. The 63-year old male driver was outside the pickup when a 1996 Honda Accord struck the back end.
