Five Arrested After Search Warrant Issued in Sweet Home

SWEET HOME, Ore. -- Police have arrested five Sweet Home residents in connection with drug trafficking and child neglect.

 

Local police served a search warrant early Thursday morning. They seized drugs from the property including ecstasy, methamphetamines, marijuana, and hallucinogenic mushrooms. They also seized twelve firearms including a sawed off shotgun.

 

Steven Terry Walker is one of the five arrested. He is the father of three minors all under the age of five. The minors are under child protective custody by DHS. Police also arrested Kirsten Stevenson, Steven Walker Junior, and James Salvadore.

 

The residence was under a multi-year investigation based on complaints of drug trafficking.
