EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon sent the final Civil War played at McArthur Court off on the right foot, defeating Oregon State 82-62 on Saturday evening.
Turnovers were the story of Saturday's game as Oregon forced a season-high 29 turnovers and scored 35 points off those Beavers' mistakes.
Taylor Lilley had a game-high 23 points and Micaela Cocks had 18. Nia Jackson followed with 14, but played great on defense. Jackson left early in the game when she collided with OSU's Talisa Rhea.
Jackson received stitches in her lip and is "Day-to-Day." The Ducks have faith she will make a quick return. As for Rhea, Head Coach LaVonda Wagner saying, "She is fine, she has a hard head."
