AZALEA, Ore. -- An Azalea teen has been arrested for sexually abusing a four-year-old girl from Tri City.
Sheriff's deputies arrested a 16-year-old boy after responding to a call from the four-year-old's family. The victim's mother says the boy abused her daughter several times during the past week.
The girl was taken to Mercy Hospital where she was given a physical examination and then released back to her mother.
The boy faces several charges including five counts of First Degree Sexual Abuse and two counts of First Degree Sodomy. According to the Douglas County Juvenile Justice Department, the teen will be tried as an adult due his Measure 11 offenses.
