Women's Hoops: Oregon State VS. Houston

HOUSTON, Tex. -- The Oregon State women's basketball team lost its 2009-10 road opener, dropping a 49-32 decision to host Houston Thursday night at Hofheinz Pavilion.

 

With the loss, the Beavers dropped to 1-1 on the year while Houston, which had its home opener Thursday night, improved to 3-0.

 

Brittany Kennedy and Kirsten Tilleman tied for the team lead in points for the Beavers, both finishing with eight. All of Tilleman's eight points came in the second half.

 

Oregon State plays Houston Baptist on Sunday.
