Drug Investigation Leads to Arrest of Lebanon Man

By Sabina Rosu-Urdes

LEBANON, Ore. -- A major drug bust by LINT and Linn County area law enforcerers: a large quantity of methamphetamine packaged for sale and over $2,000 cash were seized following a joint narcotics investigation.

On November 10, authorities stopped Froylan Mendoza-Cortez, 42, while he was driving on Highway 34 near Interstate 5. After they served a search warrant on Cortez' vehicle and residence, the Linn County Sheriff's office seized the drugs and arrested Cortez.

Cortez was lodged in the Linn County Jail for Unlawful Delivery and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
