Multiple Ways To Protect Yourself From Property Crime

EUGENE, Ore. -- Eugene has one of the highest rates of property crime in the country. This week, we took a look at residential burglaries, car break-ins, and auto theft.

 

Officers said prevention is key, and they advise citizens to put serial numbers on important valuables.

Crime Prevention Specialists said stolen property without identification goes into a warehouse. You will need a photo or serial number to claim your property.

 

Having your items clearly identified can come in handy, in the instance your home or car is broken into.
