Douglas County Holds Swine Flu Clinics

By Sabina Rosu-Urdes

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- Douglas County is holding their largest H1N1 flu vaccine clinic on Monday in Roseburg. An estimated 900 doses of the vaccine will be available for residents in priority groups, without insurance, and without a regular doctor.

The first of three H1N1 vaccination clinics was held on Friday, November 6, in Reedsport. Of the 300 doses made available, 183 were administered to priority individuals, including everyone aged six months to 24 years old, pregnant women, and those with underlying health conditions.

Future H1N1 vaccine clinics are scheduled to take place in Drain and Canyonville in the upcoming days.

Reporter Lindsey Doi attended today's clinic and brings us the latest on KEZI 9 News this evening.
