Ducks Drop in BCS, AP Rankings

By Steve Andress

While Halloween may have been a wonderful night for Oregon Duck fans, the following Saturday turned out to be simply frightening, as the Ducks fell to the Stanford Cardinal, 51-42.

The loss led to Oregon falling down to 14th in the AP poll and 13th in the BCS rankings.  While any shot at getting into the National Championship game is now but a distant memory, Oregon still has a chance to retain their top spot in the Pac-10 and earn a Rose Bowl berth, but only if they win their final three games of the regular season.

Oregon returns to Autzen to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils this Saturday.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 pm.
