Fans Prepare for Possible Rose Bowl Future

EUGENE, Ore. -- Some Duck football fans are making phone calls to travel agencies, gearing up for a possible trip to the Rose Bowl after the win against the Trojans on Halloween night.

Journeys by Ambassador travel agency said fans are asking to be put on a list just in case the team does head south to Pasadena.

Agency president Vivienne Kouba said fans' interest in following the team to a bowl game has come sooner than in previous years.

"I think it's sort of off of this great win, people are pretty excited and pumped up with this great record as well so we just kind of want to take it one game at a time," she said.

Kouba said how much you might have to fork out is unclear because there's no official word on which teams will go head-to-head in the so-called granddaddy of them all.

The University of Oregon's athletic ticket office doesn't have anything in place for any bowls. The department said it expects to know where the team is headed in about two weeks.
