#10 Ducks Dominate, Masoli Soars

By Steve Andress

EUGENE, Ore. --- Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli had the breakout game of his career for 10th ranked Oregon (7-1, 5-0 Pac-10) in the Ducks 47-20 Halloween hammering of #5 USC, in front of more than 59,000 people at Autzen Stadium.

The senior signal caller filled up the stat sheet, completing 19 of 31 pass attempts for 226 yards and a touchdown. Masoli did his real damage on the ground, however, running for 164 yards and a touchdown.

Masoli, usually soft spoken, was clearly elated after the win that put his Ducks in the driver's seat to a Rose Bowl berth.
