Linn County Mother Charged in Lebanon Teen's Death

By Brian Schiedel

ALBANY, Ore. -- A Lebanon woman has been charged in the death of a teen who was found dead in a ditch earlier this year.

Adrian Renee Rodriguez, 38, is charged with nine counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor. Linn County sheriff's detectives determined that 14-year-old Quentin Thacker died after using marijuana and consuming alcohol at a party hosted by Rodriguez. His body was found near her house.

The charges against Rodriguez involve eight other minors besides Thacker. Rodriguez remains at the Linn County Jail, where she has been in custody since October 13 following an arrest on an unrelated parole violation.
