Melissa Goes to School

CORVALLIS, Ore. --The young aspiring meteorologists at Lincoln Elementary in Corvallis learned all about weather Tuesday morning from our very own Meteorologist Melissa Frey.  And Melissa tells us these second graders are very smart!

They know how to read a thermometer and a rain gauge and are keeping track of the temperature and rain fall each day.  They also know the names of the clouds in english and spanish!

Tuesday the students learned what clouds are made of, why it rains, and how Meteorologists predict the weather.
