EUGENE, Ore. -- It has been a week to remember for University of Oregon's Senior outside hitter, Sonja Newcombe.
The weekly honors piled up Tuesday as Newcombe won her second National Volleyball Player of the Week honor. Newcombe became the first Duck to take home the award and the sixth all-time by a Pac-10 player.
Newcombe and the rest of the Ducks prepare to head to Los Angeles to take on the #12 UCLA Bruins on Friday and play #16 USC Saturday.
