Old Bridge Rail Repurposed for Community Garden

By Heather Hintze

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Pieces of Gold Beach's historic Isaac Lee Patterson Bridge have a new home in Springfield. They were salvaged by the Hamilton Construction Company during the restoration of the Depression-era bridge.

The bridge pieces are just the first part of BRING's 8,500-square foot Garden of Earthly Delights.
