Embattled North River Boats Owner Now Charged with Murder

Long Beach, Wash.--Police in Long Beach say a woman was shot to death during one of the town's biggest tourist events.

 

They say 45-year-old Lisa Bonney of Long Beach was shot three times with a shotgun near downtown on Friday. The man accused of shooting her immediately dropped the shotgun and surrendered to nearby police.

 

The man is identified as 47-year-old Brian Brush of Roseburg, Ore., who was being held in the Pacific County Jail for investigation of first-degree murder.
