Crimestoppers: Hotel Scam

By Holly Menino

As the American public raises its guard, scammers are coming up with new ways to con you. In a new form of identity theft, scammers can call people staying at a hotel claiming they're from the front desk, asking for credit card information. If you know anything about this particular hotel scam, call the Crimestoppers line at 1-800-3-DETECT. You could earn up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
