RRR Bamboo Fence

Putting up a fence is a big part of creating a private space. Use bamboo fencing, and you'll have a green space too.
This is a renewable resource. Harvest it, and new shoots come up out of the same plant. In a handful of yearsThey are at least 4 years old. It takes 4 years to get mature bamboo.

Cedar is renewable too of course- it just takes a little - ok a lot- longer.

Cedar is a fast growing tree. We use 40 or 50 year old trees.

Like wood, bamboo is naturally beautiful

This is black bamboo. It startsoff yellowish, then gets speckled, and then goes right into the black.

Part of the fence construction is done before brad picks up his hammer
When we buy these panels of bamboo, they are premade. There are 4 wires through every piece of bamboo.
And while fence owners often choose bamboo because it's green, they find other advantages to the material once it's in.

I have the ability to see folks through it, but at a slight angle, it is opaque. It doesn't decrease privacy, but it lets me see what's going on in my neighborhood.
A bamboo fence last about as long as a cedar fence, and Brad, who owns Huckleberry Fence, builds his fences- both cedar and bamboo, co that replacing a worn out part doesn't mean replacing the whole fence.
