Hundreds of Men Get Free Prostate Screenings

Hundreds of local men received free prostate cancer screenings during the second annual free screening clinic sponsored by KEZI 9 News and the Oregon Urology Foundation. Last year, about 550 men turned out for the clinic. This year, the number of men who turned up at Valley River Center to get checked out was up by almost 200!

Experts say prostate cancer has a very high survival rate if detected early. To be safe, most men should be screened once a year.
