Weekend Weather, Fireworks Could Spark Fires

EUGENE, Ore. -- Firefighters warn residents celebrating Independence Day this coming Saturday about hazardous weather conditions.
 
District Fire Chief Scott Bishop said this time of year is hot, dry and sometimes windy.  He said that combined with fireworks makes for a dangerous holiday weekend.
