Community Saves Christmas

It has been an overwhelming show of community support for an organization who helps the community. KEZI 9 News told you about how someone stole donated gift bags for needy families from Catholic Community Services of Lane County. They said in order to replace the toys and clothes meant for about forty families by Christmas, they needed help quickly. And it came quickly

They say they have been amazed at the show of public support. Starting very early Friday morning, people began bringing in donations and it didn't stop all day. Catholic Community services now not only has enough donations to replace what was stolen, they have enough to help even more low-income families have a better Christmas than they had planned before the break-in.
