Clean-up crews were working hard today in Douglas County, preparing just in case they get hit with high winds. Hundreds of people in Douglas County were without power over the weekend, nearly 100 are still without power Monday night in rural Douglas County.
Two calls came in reporting fallen trees in Reedsport. Public works crews cut down trees and branches that were actually starting to grow over the roads today. The Douglas County Public Works Department wants to remind you to slow down, especially in the rain and wind, because those fallen trees can be very dangerous.
