EUGENE, Ore.--
A dog almost loses its life after someone shot him near Fall Creek in Lane County. Earlier this week two workers with the Army Corps of Engineers found this dog with a puncture wound in his left shoulder. They took him to "Bush Animal Hospital" in Eugene where veterinarians found he had a severe gunshot wound. They decided to amputate the dog's leg to save his life. Vets say he's recovering very well and they want to find him a good home.
