Eugene, Ore.--The Superintendent of Springfield Public Schools gave an welcomed address to a large crowd of teachers, leaders and community members. Nancy Golden's presentation focused the district's new mission statement, Every Student a Graduate Prepared for a Bright and Successful Future. Golden says one of her goals is to continue to increase literacy among students. The superintendent wants parents to know the school district is invested in their children's success.
