EUGENE, Ore. -- The Shari's Restaurant off River Road in Santa Clara was robbed just after 1 a.m. Thursday.

A man walked up to the counter, revealed a handgun and demanded cash out of the register.  A male worker behind the counter complied and the robber left on foot with a small amount of cash.

The Shari's worker called 911 and although there were a few customers in the restaurant at the time, none of them witnessed the incident.

The robber is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5'11'' tall, with scruffy facial hair, dark hair, wearing a dark colored baseball hat, dark green hoodie, dark blue jeans and dark shoes.
