EUGENE, Ore. -- A Eugene coffee shop is celebrating its 20th Anniversary by giving back to the community.
Full City Coffee Roasters will donate 100% of its sales on Tuesday, July 6 to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Full City is located at 295 E. 13th St. and at 842 Pearl St. Both locations are open until 6 p.m.
CASA helps abused and neglected children in Lane County. When those children are removed from unsafe homes, they are placed in foster care where they can sometimes slip through the cracks and risk continued abuse or neglect.
CASA volunteers advocate for just one child or sibling group at a time. They thoroughly research the child's background, speak for the child's best interests in the court room, and act as a watchdog for the child until they are in a safe, permanent home.
