FLORENCE, Ore. -- Police arrested a Florence man after a computer repair technician found child pornography on his laptop.
Florence Police arrested 29-year-old Brian Lee Yoakum at his home without incident Wednesday afternoon on a Eugene Circuit Court Arrest Warrant for five counts second-degree Encouraging Child Sex Abuse.
In late April, Yoakum took his computer in for repairs. While repairing the laptop, the technician found numerous sexually explicit images of what he believed to be child pornography on the computer. He then brought it to the police. The investigation led to a Grand Jury Indictment for the five felony counts for Encouraging Child Sex Abuse 2.
Yoakum is being lodged at the Lane County Jail with his bail set at $150,000.
