GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- A Grants Pass family is finalizing plans to adopt two girls with Down Syndrome from the Ukraine.

The Parkers say several of their seven children already have special needs, and they say adopting the two girls will save them from a situation that is harmful to special needs children.

March 21 is Down Syndrome Awareness Day.
