EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- For many Oregon college students, Spring Break is here. Oregon State Police troopers are teaming up with county and local law enforcement and cracking down on drivers breaking the law. Much of their focus will be on Interstate 5. The interagency presence includes more officers tracking hundreds of miles of the interstate.
Though most of the increased patrolling will be from Roseburg south to the California stateline, OSP in Linn and Lane Counties will also be on high alert through next weekend, looking for those drivers posing a danger to themselves and others.
