MEDFORD, Ore. -- This weekend marks seven years since the United States began military operations in Iraq.

As part of a national movement, groups across the country are calling for peace.

Hundreds of people gathered in Alba Park to sing and listen to speeches from the local group, "Citizens for Peace and Justice."

The group then marched to Vogal Plaza and ended up at the Jackson County Library.
