EUGENE, Ore.-- Police are on a man-hunt for the driver responsible for a motorcycle crash that happened on Highway 99 Saturday afternoon.
39-year-old Nicholas J. Arbacauskas and his 6-year-old son, Andrew, were riding on the motorcycle, lost control and the boy was thrown from the bike.
Andrew is suffering life-threatening injuries and was air-lifted to OHSU in Portland. His father is in serious condition.
According to Eugene Police, a pick-up truck clipped the motorcycle around 1:45 p.m.
The search is on for that truck that was suspected to be involved in the crash. It is described as an orange and cream or white, 1980's chevy pick-up, possibly with scrap metal in the back.
