CENTRAL POINT, Ore. - New studies shows children who attend preschool tend to perform better in elementary school and see better long term growth.
"Its really important for kids to come to school and learn those social skills, learn to be with friends and get along with others, raise their hand, wait for a turn, help their friend and ask the teacher for help," Preschool Teacher Lori Scott said.
The second annual Preschool Fair, sponsored by the Mom's Club of Medford, will take place Saturday. There will be more than 27 different preschools present that will be able to talk to you about curriculum and how they run their schools.
The fair is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Santo Community Center in West Medford.
