EUGENE, Ore. -- A duplex caught on fire late Thursday afternoon on Benjamin Street in Eugene.
Fire officials believe the fire originally started in the dryer vent in the laundry room and spread throughout the house.
There was no damage done to the exterior of the duplex, but the inside of the home was destroyed.
No one was injured during the fire, but the family and firefighters believe a dog may have died in the blaze.
