EUGENE, Ore. -- Another University of Oregon Duck football player pleaded guilty in court Thursday.
Josh Kaddu admitted to having alcohol the night he was arrested. Kaddu said he could not go on camera but he told KEZI 9 News that he knows he made a mistake and is going to make it right.
The Oregon linebacker pleaded guilty to his misdemeanor charges of having alcohol while under aged. He was 19 when it happened. The judge gave him the option of enrolling in the diversion program. That means if he attends and passes a four-month alcohol education class, his charges could be dropped.
Also during that time Kaddu must stay out of trouble. For now, his sentencing date is set for July 20th.
At the beginning of March, police cited Kaddu after noticing him trying to pry open someone else's SUV downtown. The owner of the car did not press charges.
