Eugene, Ore.-- It's the hottest ticket in town, and only 2,500 got their hands on one.
Former late night comedian Conan O'Brien kicks off his 30-city tour at Eugene's Hult Center on April 12, and fans are scrambling to gain access.
The remaining tickets are part of premium packages and cost $500 per seat. Hult Center managers say it is rare to go through this many tickets in just a few hours.
The show is called the 'Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour'.
The big tour announcement came in the form of a Tweet on Thursday at about 6:30 a.m. Only Conan's Twitter followers found out that tickets were about to go on sale just a half hour later.
