LANE COUNTY, Ore. -- Nearly 4,000 Lane County residents didn't see a whole lot of anything Monday night, because they had no power.
The outages began at about 9 p.m., hitting the South Hills, Junction City, and Cottage Grove especially hard.
Crews from EPUD, EWEB, and Lane Electric worked through the rain all night and Tuesday morning to restore power.
They finished around 3 p.m. Tuesday. Now, they're resting up for the possibility of a round two, with more strong winds forecast for Tuesday night.
"We have crews on stand-by as well as our crews are going home to rest if we do get the strong winds this evening. Then we can have fresh bodies to go out there and restore power for everyone," said Tami Tiller, EPUD Operations Coordinator.
