EUGENE & CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The Civil War football game between the University of Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers is just around the corner.
But all the buzz around the big game has some folks examining other aspects of the rivalry -- like which school boasts the better college town.
And from the mascot ot the the nightlife, University of Oregon Students say there isn't much to the debate. They say a better city equals a better place to go to school.
Many UO students say Eugene is a better college town because of the community support, the relaxing atmosphere and the town's diversity.
Meanwhile, OSU students say that although Eugene may be a bigger town, Corvallis has much more school spirit. They add that there are fewer "fair-weather fans" in Corvallis than there are in Eugene.
This discussion will get more intense next Thursday when the Ducks and the Beavers go head to head in Civil War at Autzen Stadium.
