CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Faculty members at Oregon State University may be facing furlough days next year.
University officials say the faculty has accepted a proposal for the unpaid days. They say faculty members will have to take a minimum of 3 unpaid days and a maximum of 12, depending on their salaries and the length of their contracts.
Faculty senators approved the action on Thursday after an hour-long debate.
