LANE COUNTY, Ore. -- Lane County Commissioner Bill Fleenor has put himself back in the race again for his own seat next term.
The incumbent says his decision comes after dozens of citizens urged him to throw his name in the hat again.
Residents say Fleenor has worked hard for them since 2006. They say he fights unfair taxes and forced annexation. Fleenor says he initially declined another go in September because his energy was being diverted to campaigning and not the job at hand.
Fleenor faces three other candidates: Jay Bozievich, Tony McCown and Professor Anselmo Villanueva. Bozievich is an engineer and business owner who says his focus are jobs and public safety. McCown has served on several city and county committees and wants to focus on public safety.
