Corvallis Lottery Retailer Robbed at Gunpoint, Suspect on the Loose

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The hunt is on for a man who robbed a Corvallis video poker and lottery retailer at gunpoint shortly after midnight on Tuesday. Police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect.

 

On Tuesday, around 1:45 a.m., Corvallis Police Officers were called to a hold-up at DeDe's at 1786 NW 9th Street.

 

The suspect was allegedly wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and brown hiking boots at the time of the robbery. He held the clerk at gunpoint with a handgun and moved him through the store while stealing an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect took off with the money through the back door, and left the clerk unharmed.

 

The suspect is described as a white male with blue eyes, possibly in his twenties or thirties.  He is between 5'8" and 6'0" feet tall with a thin to medium build.
